OMCs' margins jack up by Rs0.71 per litre

December 16, 2021 (MLN): The Oil & Marketing Companies’ (OMCs) margins have been increased by Rs0.71 per litre to Rs3.68, a notice issued by Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) said yesterday.
While, the dealer margins on petrol has been jacked up by Rs0.99 per litre to Rs4.90. The revised margins shall come into force with effect from December 16, 2021, the notice added.
To recall, on November 25, the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) had called off the strike after the assurance from the government that profit margins will be increased by Rs0.99 per litre or 25 percent.
