OGRA raises LPG price by Rs2.28 per kg for August

July 31, 2024 (MLN): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs2.28 per kg for August 2024.

Accordingly, the consumer LPG price has now been increased to Rs236.996 per Kg, against Rs234.717 per Kg for the previous month.

Likewise, producer LPG price has been hiked by the same margin to Rs195.696 per Kg for August.

For the 11.8 kg LPG cylinder, the cost for consumers has been revised to Rs2,796.56, representing a rise of Rs26.90 per cylinder from the previous price of Rs2,769.66.

Moreover, producer LPG price was increased by OGRA to Rs2,309.22 for August.

The LPG producer price is linked with Saudi Aramco-CP and US$ dollar exchange rate.

As compared to the previous month Saudi Aramco-CP has increased up to 1.22%.

The average Dollar exchange rate has however gone down by 0.0107% resulting in the increase in LPG consumer price by Rs26.90/11.8 kg cylinder (0.97%).

The per Kg increase in LPG consumer price is Rs.2.27.
