OGDCL discovers more gas, condensate in Kawagarh

March 18, 2025 (MLN): Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC) has revealed a second gas and condensate discovery in the Kawagarh Formation.

OGDCL holds a 35% working interest in the Waziristan Block, alongside Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) as the operator with a 55% stake and Orient Petroleum Inc. holding 10%.

This discovery follows the company's previous announcement on February 25, 2025, regarding the Spinwam-1 well discovery in the Samanasuk Formation, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

The well has tested 20.485 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas and approximately 117 barrels per day of condensate at a 32/64" choke, with a Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) of 3,431 psig.

Testing of additional formations is currently in progress.
