NSS profits to rise by 1-1.75%

December 3, 2021 (MLN): Profit rates on the National Saving Schemes (NSS) are likely to increase in the range of 1-1.75% following the increase in interest rate, rate revision summary submitted by the Ministry of Finance showed on Friday.

The summary has been tabled for the approval of Finance Ministry and the notification will be released soon.

At present, the profit rate on Behbood Savings Certificates and Pensioners Benefit Account is 11.04% while, the defense saving certificate, regular income certificate, and special certificates are offering 9.37 percent, 8.76 percent and 8.20 percent, respectively.
