New task force established to revamp Pakistan's power sector

August 08, 2024 (MLN): To enhance the efficiency of Pakistan's power sector, the government has constituted a task force to review all the aspects for the improvement of the sector.

This was stated by the Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, while speaking to the media today.

He mentioned that the power sector is the backbone of any economy and that the government is implementing reforms to boost its efficiency.
