NEPRA calls for hearing on LESCO’s request regarding adjustment in Consumer End Tariff

March 4, 2020 (MLN): Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) has submitted its request to National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for the adjustments in the Consumer End Tariff.

The federal government, on March 22, 2018, had notified the general public of NEPRA’s determination of the Multi-Year Tariff of LESCO for the period from July 2018 till June 2023.

To follow up on, LESCO filed its requests for adjustment on account of indexation of Multi Year Tariff (MYT) components for FY20 and Prior Year Adjustment.

Since the impact of any such adjustment is to be passed on to consumers, the Authority (NEPRA) on the matter considered it appropriate to conduct a hearing on March 25, 2020 at the NEPRA Tower.
