NCCPL changes the criteria of marketable lots for all NCSS eligible securities

December 14, 2020 (MLN): The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has determined and notified the marketable lots of all NCSS eligible securities based on the following criteria:

Market Price Ranges	Marketable Lots
Upto Rs. 100	500 shares
Above Rs. 100 and upto Rs. 500	100 shares
Above Rs. 500 and upto Rs. 1000	50 shares
Above Rs. 1,000	20 shares

In addition to the above, marketable lots will be reviewed by NCCPL on six monthly basis on the market value as of the first business day of June and December, and in case of any change in the marketable lots for any particular securities (ies) the revised marketable lots will be effective from the first business day of July and January respectively.

Accordingly, after applying the above criteria, the marketable lots of 24 NCSS live securities will be impacted. NCCPL has therefore requested PSX to change the marketable lots in its respective systems effective from January 1, 2021.
