MSCI Quarterly Index Review: No changes to Pakistan's Emerging Market index

February 10, 2021(MLN): Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a leading provider of research-based indexes and analytics, has announced changes in constituents of its global indices in its February 2021 Quarterly Index Review which would be effective from Feb 27, 2021.

From Pakistan’s perspective, all three stocks including OGDC, MCB and HBL retained their position in MSCI standard index while Pakistan’s weight in MSCI EM main Index is expected to be 0.021%.

Meanwhile, the constituents of the MSCI EM small-cap index have also remained unchanged.
