MOPHRD emphasizes coordination for Pakistani manpower in Saudi Arabia

November 20, 2023 (MLN): Close coordination among overseas employment stakeholders is crucial for capitalizing on opportunities for Pakistani manpower in Saudi Arabia, Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MOPHRD), Jawad Sohrab Malik stated during a meeting on Sunday.

According to a press release issued on the said day, Jawad Sohrab Malik held a detailed exchange of views with Saudi employers and Human resource management executives in Jeddah.

During the meeting, SAPM highlighted the importance of human resource development as per the requirements of the Saudi market and economy.

SAPM also held an interaction with the Pakistani community at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.

Community notables and businessmen interacted with SAPM on a wide range of issues including issues faced by expatriates.

SAPM assured the community that the government of Pakistan is fully committed to supporting the Pakistani community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries.

Malik shared the ongoing efforts being made by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis to look after the interests of overseas Pakistanis, particularly those living in the kingdom, and ensure their welfare.

The event was attended by a cross-section of the Pakistani diaspora in Jeddah, including businessmen, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

The SAPM’s visit to KSA is part of an effort to further strengthen manpower employment cooperation between the two countries.
