Midday Report: Policy rate cut anticipation pushes the index up by 755 pts

September 12, 2019 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 index has gained another 755 points in the intraday session so far and is currently trading at 31,710 points [12:54 PST]. As of now, the index has touched an intraday high of 31729 and an intraday low of 30950 points.
The gains have been extended on hopes that the policy rates will be cut which brought excitement in the air.
Furthermore, Commercial Banks, Fertilizer and Oil & Gas Exploration Companies are making the maximums gains thus far.
