Midday Report: KSE-100 continues to face unrelenting trials

August 26, 2019 (MLN): The KSE-100 index has lost nearly 456 points so far in today’s intraday session, and is currently trading at 30,893 mark. Up until now, the benchmark index has touched an intraday low of 30,804 points.

While the index might have successfully evaded India’s desperate attempt to jeopardize local stock markets by making false claims, it still seems to be in an ordeal as profiteers are leaving no stone unturned in making personal gains at the expense of well-being of equity markets.

The E&P companies and Commercial Banks have suffered the maximum losses till this points, as they have cumulatively snatched 236 points from the index.
