May 20, 2025 (MLN): MG Motors Pakistan has achieved a major milestone in its pursuit of smarter, cleaner mobility with the Line-Off Ceremony of the 1000th locally assembled MG HS Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) at its plant in Lahore.

This development reflects MG’s commitment to transforming Pakistan’s automotive sector through technology, luxury, and environmental sustainability.

Since its official launch in October 2024 and the beginning of local production in January 2025, the MG HS PHEV has quickly gained traction among Pakistani consumers due to its appealing design, cost-efficiency, and eco-friendly performance.

With more than 900 units already delivered, the 1000th line-off marks MG’s expanding presence in Pakistan’s hybrid vehicle market.

To further enhance customer satisfaction, MG Pakistan has replaced the standard portable charger with a 7KW fast charger at no extra cost.

This move, aimed at addressing concerns about charging time, significantly reduces charging duration.

The previous charger will now be offered as an accessory, as per the press release issued.

Syed Asif Ahmed, General Manager Marketing Division, stated, “We are proud to roll out the 1000th MG HS PHEV. MG HS PHEV is an ideal solution for urban mobility."

This moment not only highlights our production strength but also reinforces our promise to provide advanced, accessible hybrid technology that meets the evolving needs of Pakistani drivers.

"In response to the voice of customer MG has upgraded the Charger to 7KW for free with the aim to reduce the charging time significantly,” he added.

The MG HS PHEV remains a leading hybrid SUV, offering over 50km of pure electric range, safety features, modern technology, and efficient performance, catering to the needs of sustainable and style-conscious commuters.

MG Motors Pakistan continues to drive innovation in the hybrid and electric vehicle segment, reaffirming its role in shaping a cleaner and smarter future for mobility in the country.
