Meta delegation engages Pakistan's IT Minister on digital initiatives

April 25, 2024 (MLN): A two-member delegation of Meta on Thursday briefed the Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja about Meta working and different campaigns in Pakistan including Digital Saftey Campaign, Election Education Compaign, Anti-Scams Campaign, and Digital Literacy Program.

According to a press statement released today, the Meta delegation comprised Dania Mukhtar, Head of Public Policy for Pakistan at Meta, and Taabeer Ather, Manager Public Policy for Pakistan.

The meeting discussed in detail the responsible use of social media platforms.

In response, Shaza Fatima Khawaja appreciated the work of Meta and ensured her full support to the company.
