Menzies Aviation's IT boosts Pakistan's economy: PM

January 17, 2025 (MLN): The establishment of an IT infrastructure and service desk by Menzies Aviation in Pakistan has been hailed as a significant milestone for the national economy, particularly benefiting the IT sector, as stated by the Prime Minister.

The discussion took place with a delegation from Menzies Aviation, led by CEO Philip Joeinig, in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Prime Minister stated that the government is fully committed to driving national development after achieving economic stability, according to the press release issued today.

He noted the development of the national economy is closely linked to the progress of the IT sector.

He further said that our IT exports have been continuously increasing due to investor-friendly policies.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed the confidence that the recent economic growth and Menzies Aviation’s arrival in Pakistan will help attract other international companies to invest in the country. 

He noted that foreign investment will create more job opportunities for the youth.
