Media Times explores merger opportunities with Real Estate giants

February 15, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Media Times Limited (PSX: MDTL) on Wednesday authorized the company's management to explore the feasibility of a potential merger with any Real Estate company, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

"Upon finalization by the management, along with the requisite documents, the same may be presented to the Board for approval," the filing reads.

The company has also been authorized to, inter alia, engage legal, financial and such other advisors and consultants as may be required for the merger and carry out other necessary steps and actions, including conducting necessary evaluation/recommendation of the potential merger.

The management of the company shall continue to keep the bourse informed of the progress in respect of the above matter.

Media Times is primarily involved in printing and publishing daily English and Urdu newspapers in the name of "Daily Times" and "AajKal" respectively.
