Matco Foods to shut down Dextrose Monohydrate plant for maintenance

April 25, 2024 (MLN): Matco Foods Limited (PSX: MFL) has announced the closure of its Dextrose Monohydrate plant from April 26, 2024, to May 31, 2024 (both days inclusive) for process improvements and routine maintenance.
The plant has an annual capacity of 4,000 MT and is situated at G-205, S.I.T.E-II, Super Highway Industrial Area, Karachi.
The company further informed that the Plant will resume regular operations from June 01, 2024.
MFL is principally engaged in the processing and export of rice, rice glucose, rice protein and pink salt, masala and kheer.
At the time of writing, the company's scrip is benefitting from the upward spree currently being witnessed in the domestic equity market, up by 1% or 0.29 paisa compared to the last close.
