KSE - 100 sheds over 650 points in intraday trade

KSE – 100 shed 657 points during the initial hours of today’s session, to reach 40,562 points, a reduction of 1.6%.

The intraday high is at 41,221 points while the low is at 40,560 points, thus leaving a range of 661 points.

13.5 million shares have been traded in the KSE - 100 index so far, amounting to a value worth PKR 1 billion. At KSE All Share Index, 27.7 million shares have been traded whose value adds up to PKR 1.3 billion.

At KSE – 100, Real Estate Investment Trust and Automobile Parts & Accessories are the top net gainers, while Commercial Banks, Oil & Gas Exploration companies and Cement are performing the worst so far,  having collectively taken away 400 points from the index already.

After increasing by Rs.20.5, Services Industries Limited remains the best performer at KSE All share so far. On the other hand, I.C.I Pakistan after a reduction of Rs.40, Indus Motors Company Limited with a reduction of Rs.29.6 and Bhanero Textiles Limited with a reduction of Rs.27.99, are the worst performers up till now.

Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited has traded 2,417,500 shares as of now and is thereby leading the volume at KSE.
