KSE-100 Index up around 360pts to reach near 6-month high

April 18, 2022 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 index has gained over 360 points in the early trade [9:30 PST] to reach near six-month high at 46,970.04 as investors cheered the news of the Pakistan-IMF formal dialogue which is set to begin today.

Oil and gas exploration companies, refineries, insurance, and power generation have gained maximum points.

Scrip wise, the notable gainers are OGDC, PPL, POL, PSO, HUBC, and LOTCHEM.  

Witnessing a volatile session, the index is currently traded at 46,659.57, with a gain of 65.67 points [10:35 PST].
