August 07, 2023 (MLN): Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (Formerly KIA Lucky Motors Pakistan Limited) announced on Monday that the company is closing the operations of its four dealerships in Pakistan with immediate effect, said a press release issued by the company on the same day.

The four dealerships that will be closed are; Kia Motors Hanna Lake in Quetta, Kia Motors Chenab in Gujrat, Kia Motors Avenue in Dera Ghazi Khan, and Kia Motors Gateway in Mardan.

“We at LMC always believe in staying transparent with our customers and being a customer-centric company we would like to inform this to all our customers,” the notice reads.

The notice doesn’t specify the reason behind the decision as LMC has been performing well in 2023 with increasing sales while its competitors witnessed declining sales.

To note, Kia Sportage witnessed a 4% increase in total sales MoM and the company managed to sell 163 Picantos, 53 Stonics, and 72 Sorentos in February 2023 alone.
