KEL welcomes Dr. Irfan as new govt-nominated director

August 30, 2024 (MLN): Following Dr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan’s appointment as Secretary of the Power Division, he has been nominated as a director on the Board of K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL), effective August 28, 2024.
This change follows the appointment of Rashid Mahmood Langrial, the government’s previous nominee director on the Board of K-Electric Limited, as Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue by the GOP.
Rashid Langrial was previously serving as a director in his ex-officio capacity as Secretary of the Power Division.
Due to Langrial’s new role, Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan, the newly appointed Secretary of the Power Division, has replaced him as the government’s nominee director on the board.
