JLICL to suspend services from August 9-18 amid system upgrade

August 06, 2024 (MLN): Jubilee Life Insurance Company Limited (PSX: JLICL) will close operations for its customers from Friday, August 9, 2024 (9:00 PM) to Sunday, August 18, 2024 (midnight) as the company implements a major business system upgrade.

JLICL informed market participants of this development through a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

Systems at its branches, service and sales outlets will not be available for public servicing during this period.

Operational activities including premium collection, policy issuance, policy and claim payments & disbursements, fund pricing, etc. will also be on hold and all transactions will be processed after the system upgrade effective the next business working day.

Furthermore, limited access to JLICL's customer portals, website, mobile applications, WhatsApp, and SMS, would only be possible during this period.

Jubilee Life has always been at the forefront of providing quality service to its valuable policyholders/takaful members/participants / existing clients and prospective customers, it added.

"This System upgrade is another endeavor to further enhance the range and efficiency of our services," the notice reads.
