IT exports surge 34% to $286m in July

August 19, 2024 (MLN): Telecommunications, Computer, and Information Services made the largest contribution to the export of services with an amount of $286 million in July, witnessing an increase of 33.64% YoY compared to exports worth $214m in July 2023.
A sequential comparison reveals that the country's IT imports decreased by 4.03%, falling from $298m in the previous month.
However, IT imports have risen significantly compared to the same period last year.
In July, IT imports stood at $34m, up by 41.67% compared to $24m in July 2023.
Meanwhile, compared to the previous month, IT imports experienced a similar trend to exports, declining by 19.08%.
