ISL increases steel prices by Rs5,000 per ton

May 19, 2022 (MLN): International Steel Limited (ISL) has raised the prices of Cold Roll Coil (CRC) and Hot Dipped Galvanized Coil/Sheets (HDGC) by Rs5,000 per ton with effect from May 19, 2022.

The new prices are now Rs232.5k per ton for CRC and Rs243.8k per ton for HDGC.

According to Topline Securities, other players in the sector will follow the ISL’s suit.

This price hike came after almost a month which is due to continuous PKR devaluation as the HRC prices globally have come down recently due to sluggish demand, as per a note by Ismail Iqbal Securities.
