IRSA releases112,915 cusecs water

February 24, 2022: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Thursday released 112,915 cusecs water from various rim stations with an inflow of 63,133 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, Tarbela Dam water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as18,500 and 18,500 cusecs respectively.

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,119.20 feet, which was 69.02 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water were recorded as 10,218 and 60,000 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa, and Sukkur was recorded as 17,744, 47,457, and 29,755 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 6,600 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 31,215 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
