International Conference on Islamic Capital Market to help making financial system Riba free: Chairman SECP

May 28, 2023 (MLN): First International Conference on Islamic Capital Market will help Pakistan in implementing the Federal Shariat Court's judgment to make the financial system Riba free, Chairman SECP Mr. Akif Saeed said during a meeting with Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at Finance Division, today.

Chairman SECP and Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed the arrangements of the said conference which will be held in Islamabad from tomorrow.

Akif Saeed also informed the finance minister that the delegations have already arrived to participate in the conference.

Apart from the arrangements of the conference, other matters related to the SOEs were also discussed in the meeting.
