April 10, 2020 (MLN): The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) board meeting is scheduled to take place on April 16, 2020, to consider Pakistan’s request of loan approval.

Pakistan has reportedly requested around $1.4 billion, to combat the economic uncertainties resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19, as well as to support budgetary imbalances.
