Hinopak Motors achieves spectacular sales growth of 74% for buses in December: PAMA

January 16, 2019 (MLN): The total production of buses and trucks during the month of December stood at 530 units, down by 19.57 percent YoY. Congruently, the cumulative sales of buses and trucks stood at 470 in the same month, showing an adverse change of 33.4 percent YoY.

A breakdown of the total figure shows that while truck sales remained in line with the direction of total sales’ growth and fell by 55.6 percent, the cumulative bus sales showed a massive jump of 169 units for the month of December, against 34 units in the parallel month last year.

According to official data released by Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), Isuzu Recorded sale of 116 units, down 58% MoM, And HINO Sold 148 trucks, down by 23% MoM within the Trucks segment.

On the other hand, buses segment recorded sturdier sales growth where HINO Sold 87 Units approximately 74% higher units than last month while Isuzu Sold 73 Buses against sales of 4 Units last month.
