Health sector funds of Rs 8.3 bn consumed under PSDP

April 19, 2020 (MLN): The total FY20 budget outlay of the Federal Public Sector Development Plan (PSDP) is 701 billion i.e. 8.5% of total expenditure, out of which Rs 8.3 billion or 1.18% has been allocated to health services.

So far, this allocation of Rs 8.3 billion for the health sector under PSDP for FY20 has been consumed.

Under its development program, From July 1 to April 17, the government has disbursed Rs 522 billion.

For National Highway Authority, the government allocated a sum of Rs 154.96 billion, 71 billion rupees for water projects, Rs 42 billion for development of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and  Gilgit Baltistan, Rs 38 billion for security arrangements and only Rs 27 billion allocated for education.
