Hang Seng Index sheds 0.87 percent in morning session

Hong Kong shares fell in the morning session Thursday as anxious investors braced for US-China tariffs due to take effect within hours.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.87 percent, or 246.59 points, to 27,995.08.
