Govt to extend financial, technical support to SME sector

January 24, 2019: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar says government will extend maximum financial and technical support to Small and Medium Enterprises sector under the proposed Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan Program.

He was talking to a delegation of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in Islamabad on Thursday.

Usman Dar said development of SME sector is a key to economic turnaround of a developing country like Pakistan.

The meeting decided that SMEDA will identify top 25 SME business ventures as per latest trends in the job market, both locally and internationally.

Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan Programme is a flagship initiative of the government not only to promote SME sector but also to create one Million employment opportunities for the youth.
