Govt institutions owe IESCO Rs71bn

June 10, 2024 (MLN): Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a list of defaulted government institutions that have pending payments of over Rs71.16 billion.

The defaulter institutions were also directed to clear their pending dues within a week to ensure uninterrupted power supply, said a press release issued.

The IESCO administration has asked the heads of all defaulting government institutions to pay their outstanding electricity bills and to contact the relevant revenue office or the Commercial Directorate at IESCO Headquarters for any query or information.
