Govt approves seasonal electricity package

October 5, 2021 (MLN): The Federal Cabinet has approved the seasonal electricity package for domestic and commercial consumers to encourage power consumption during off-peak months.

Making an announcement on his Twitter handle, Hammad Azhar, Minister for Energy said, “Any additional electricity consumed by domestic and commercial consumers during Nov-Feb period compared to same time previous year will have a discount of Rs5 to Rs7 per each unit.”
