Govt announces 5-day Eid-ul-Azha holidays

July 3, 2022 (MLN): The federal government on Sunday notified five-day Eid ul Azha holidays in the country.
According to a notification by the Prime Minister's Office, the Eid-ul-Azha holidays will be observed from July 8 to 12 (Friday to Tuesday).
Earlier, the cabinet division submitted a proposal suggesting three-day holidays for Eid ul Azha. However, the Prime Minister approved five holidays.
