Govt and SBP to provide additional Rs300 billion in subsidized financing to exporters: Dr Hafeez

November 20, 2019: The finance advisor to Prime Minister, Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said exports of goods and services increased by 9.6% YoY in Oct 2019.

In an official twitter account, he said government and State Bank of Pakistan will give additional Rs300 billion in subsidized financing to exporters.

He said it will provide easy working capital and funds to exporters for expansion.

Dr Hafeez Shaikh said Rs30 billion will be given in cash instead of promissory notes issued against tax refunds.
