Government plans to sell T-bills worth Rs5.05tr through seven auctions

October 5, 2021 (MLN): The government has planned to sell T-bills worth Rs5.05trillion against the maturity of Rs5.1tr through seven auctions.

According to the details, the first auction is scheduled to be held on Oct 7, 2021, with an auction target of Rs900 billion. While the last auction will be held on Dec 30, 2021, with a target of Rs450 billion.

Tenure wise, the government has planned to sell Rs1,550bn worth of 3-months T-bills, Rs1,750 billion worth of 6-month T-bills and Rs1,750 worth of 1-year T-bills during the quarter ending Dec 31, 2021.
