Gold rises to Rs.115,000 per tola

July 22, 2020 (MLN): The yellow precious metal held in green for the sixth straight day. The price of 24 Karat-Gold jumped by Rs 1,500 to Rs 115,000 per tola in the local market. The valuable yellow metal had closed at Rs 113,500 per tola on the previous trading day.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram gold also gained by Rs 1,286 to settle at Rs 98,594 against Rs 97,308 on the last trading day.

Similarly, the 24 Karat- Silver also witnessed a significant increase of Rs 200 to close at Rs 1,320 per tola. Moreover, 10-gram silver gained Rs 171.48 to amount at Rs 1131.70.

In the international market, gold prices reached $1,856 an ounce, up by $31 while silver was pegged at $22 per ounce.
