Gold rises Rs600 per tola in Pakistan

October 02, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs275,500 per tola, up Rs600.
Globally, spot gold traded near $2,653 an ounce, down $6.7 or 0.25% after closing 1.1% higher on Tuesday, when Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles at Israel.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs236,197 per 10-gram, up Rs515.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted higher at Rs216,514 per 10-gram.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,050 per tola and Rs2,615 per 10-gram.
