Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,000 per tola

April 08, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs318,000 per tola, down Rs2,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs272,633 after a decline of Rs1,715, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs249,922 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,170 per tola (+Rs50) and Rs2,717 per 10-gram (+Rs43).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,012 an ounce, up $30.9 or 1.04% from the previous session.

Gold prices drifted higher on Tuesday, aided by a global trade war between the U.S. and its main trading partners, and a softer dollar.
