Gold loses its shine

November 23, 2020 (MLN): The yellow metal prices dipped on Monday in international market as optimism about covid-19 vaccine dented gold prices by $6 to $1,866 per ounce while silver was pegged at $24.20 an ounce.

On the similar note, gold prices dropped in the domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 450 to Rs 112,850 from Rs 113,200 recorded on Friday.

According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also jumped by Rs 385 to Rs 96,751 against the price of Rs 97,050 reported in the previous session.

Likewise, the price of per tola silver and 10-gram silver also witnessed a fall of Rs 20 and Rs 17.14 to clock in at Rs 1,210 and Rs 1,037.38 respectively, the association reported.
