G20 to provide debt relief of $12 billion

April 17, 2020 (MLN): G20 Countries are expected to provide a debt relief of $12 billion to several other countries including Pakistan, starting from May 1.

In view of this, the Finance Ministry has commenced working on the debt deferment plan.

IMF, World Bank, ADB, and other multilateral agencies are expected to provide this debt relief by 2021.

There is a possibility that Pakistan might get debt deferment of $5 billion from KSA, and $3 billion from China
