Foreign investments in treasury bills reach a new high

November 14, 2019: Foreign investments in treasury bills have reached a new high, a report released by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) revealed on Thursday.

Reportedly, the investments in treasury bills from November 1, 2019 to November 12, 2019 amounted to $267 million.

According to the report, investment in UK clocked at $169.5 million, USA at $92.6 million and UAE at $5 million.

Since the start of the fiscal year July 1, 2019, foreign investment have reached $721 million.

Furthermore, investment from USA in Treasury bills and PIBs amounted to $427 million, investment from UK in treasury bills stood at $292 million, whereas investment from UAE in treasury bills stood at $5 million.
