Foreign companies taking interest in manufacturing of electric cars, mobile-phone: Hammad Azhar

December 18, 2020: Minister for Industries and Production, Hamad Azhar has said that foreign companies are taking interest in manufacturing of electric cars while foreign mobile-phone manufacturing companies are also taking keen interest in Pakistan. Talking to private news channel, he said that government had announced the mobile manufacturing policy and reduced taxes to encourage the industry.

About Electric vehicles, he said introducing electric vehicles in the country would help address environmental issues.
