FLYNG Cement to install 21MW captive power plant

October 3, 2022 (MLN): Flying Cement Company Limited (FLYNG) plans to install a 21MW captive power plant and to further enhance the capacity of Line-2, the company’s filings on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed on Monday.

In a meeting of the Board of directors of the company discussed the progress of the expansion of Line-2 from 7,700 TPD to 9,000 TPD of clinker by virtue of various modifications in the plant and machinery, and the Punjab Environment Protection Agency has also given its approval for installation.

Furthermore, “the COD of Line-2 with an enhanced production capacity of 9,000 TPD is expected to commence operations by the end 3rd Quarter of 2023”, the company said.
