FinMin, deloitte team discuss key areas of cooperation at World Bank-IMF meetings

April 21, 2025 (MLN): The operationalization of the Country Partnership Framework (CPF) was a key topic of conversation during the meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and the team of international firm Deloitte on the sidelines of the World Bank Group and IMF Spring Meetings 2025 in Washington.

During the meeting, the Finance Minister briefed the Deloitte team on Pakistan’s macroeconomic outlook, the government’s sectoral development agenda, and export-led growth priorities, according to the press releas issued today.

The discussion also explored potential cooperation in various sectors, including energy sector reforms, extraction and marketing of critical minerals, privatization, technology, and the development of a crypto policy.

Finance Minister Aurangzeb welcomed the visit of the Deloitte team to Pakistan, scheduled for May 2025, marking a significant step in furthering collaboration between the two sides.
