FinMin arrives in London for official UK visit

May 07, 2025 (MLN): Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb arrived in London on a three-day official visit to the United Kingdom.

He was received at Heathrow Airport by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, along with other officials.

The primary objective of the visit is to bolster Pakistan-UK bilateral economic relations, promote foreign investment in Pakistan, and engage with UK government officials, global financial institutions, and business leaders based in the United Kingdom.

During his visit, Minister Aurangzeb will attend the “Pakistan Access Day” investment roundtable conference, organized by leading UK investment banking firm Jefferies.

He is also scheduled to participate in another roundtable focused on the information technology sector, as per the press release.

This conference will highlight business opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in artificial intelligence, mining, and healthcare sectors.
