Finance Minister to meet Eurobond Consortium for fresh loan

According to sources, the Ministry of Finance has scheduled a meeting with the President of the consortium of financial advisors of the previous Eurobond issued by Pakistan.

The Meeting is to be held in Islamabad today at 15:00 and will be chaired by the Finance Minister.

While the government is not looking to issue another Eurobond, it is understood that the objective of the meeting is to arrange a syndicated loan for Pakistan.

The members of the consortium include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Standard Chartered Bank, Citi Bank and Duetsche Bank.
