Federal Cabinet accords approval to proposal of restructuring power distribution companies

August 19, 2020: Federal Cabinet has accorded approval to the proposal of restructuring power distribution companies.
Briefing media after the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said the names of the new board members would be made public soon.
The Information Minister said the cabinet also gave approval to the export of locally made personal protection equipment.
He said the meeting decided to establish the Hajj and Pension Fund and the Prime Minister directed to include best experts of the world in the management of the Pension fund.
