Federal Budget 2018-19 to be growth-oriented, people-friendly: Afzal

ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (APP): Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan Tuesday said Federal Budget for the year 2018-19 would be growth-oriented and people-friendly, which is scheduled to be presented in the National Assembly on April 27.

“The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government wants to keep the growth trajectory intact for the upcoming regime,” he said in a brief talk with media after inaugurating a three-day exhibition titled ‘Pakistan Capital Investment Summit and Expo-2018’ here.

He said all-out efforts would be made to provide maximum relief to the common man in the new fiscal plan.

Answering a question, the minister said Pakistan never defaulted on foreign debts and its credit went to all governments.
