FBR to conduct nationwide survey of immovable property

November 5, 2019 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has approved in principle the proposal of a digital nation-wide survey of immovable property.

The nationwide survey shall be undertaken to assess wealth in the real estate sector, and will be completed over the next two years.

General consensus suggests that there has been colossal wealth parked in the real estate sector, and therefore, a nationwide survey is required for the assessment of such wealth.
