FBR extends deadline for sales tax, excise returns to August 23

August 19, 2024 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced an extension for the submission of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Returns for the tax period of July 2024 with the new deadline set at August 23, 2024.

According to a notice issued by the revenue board on August 16, 2024, the initial deadline was August 18.

The notice was directed to the Large Taxpayers Office (LTO), Medium Taxpayers Office (MTO), Corporate Tax Office (CTO), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs).
